“As far back as I can recall, I have loved drawing and it is
the drawing combined with printmaking that captures my
energy and my imagination at this point in time. I draw on
the plate over and over again and then sometimes, I draw
on the print as well. My materials are simple: printer’s inks,
brayers, brushes, sticks, but mostly fingers. I use both hands.
It is about the process, the doing, the conversation between
The plate and the tools in my hand. It’s an even match. The
Art piece has a language and a journey of its own.”
